Cybersecurity for everyone!
Here at CyberDEI, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support, and we are determined to make an impact. Through all of our endeavors we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs and highlight that everyone belongs in cybersecurity.
We're a safe and inclusive community where everyone is welcome to learn about cybersecurity. We see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, driven by our shared passion and goals: support, empowerment, and progress towards making cybersecurity more diverse, equitable, and inclusive.

CYBERESCURITY HAS A DIVERSITY PROBLEM
There have been no new studies on the demographics of cybersecurity professionals since 2016. We know there is a lack of representation in the industry, but we don't know exact numbers. We don't have the data to definitively say if the cybersecurity industry has succeeded in its efforts to diversify.

Lack of diversity, equity, and inclusion leaves underrepresented folks facing: racism, sexism, ageism, ableism, homophobia, religious persecution, and overall discrimination.
